Fiat Chrysler And Renault Discussing Merger
PARIS -- Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has made a "transformative merger" proposal to French peer Renault, FCA said on Monday. The deal will create a world leader and help address some of the weaknesses in both automakers. FCA said the combined business would be 50 percent owned by FCA shareholders and 50 percent owned by those of Renault. More to come on this breaking news story.
